Today I just wanted to share a wonderful idea I got from a magazine! This is a quick homemade tropical twist breakfast your toddler will love! Certainly makes a change from “boring” cereal! Cottage Cheese is loaded with protein, has calcium and is low fat. Not that this matters for your toddler but it is healthy – so you know! I love to add pineapple, strawberries and 1 Tbs of grated apple! Yummy. This makes a great healthy snack for Mum as well.
Homemade French Toast is absolutely delicious. For my little toddlers I love to make healthy french toast. Wholegrain bread, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla and milk. Simple but with a little extra goodness from the wholegrain bread instead of white bread.TIP : When you do buy the wholegrain bread check the loaf and go for a brand that has no added sugar!
Apple Sauce is a super alternative for you toddler over white processed sugar! Selecting fruit is always better than white sugar for your toddler. The great thing about these pancakes it you can place them in zip lock bags and freeze! Perfect for a busy morning breakfast or a healthy quick snack. I love the fact that this recipe is just simple and no fuss!
Toddlers will love Egg Soldiers! They can dip their toast into their egg. Eggs are highly nutritious great for protein! Building your toddlers body is essential!
